Here there is a list of useful things you have to know when you drive in Italy:
Highway: before you access to an highway you have to take a ticket at the tollgate. When you exit, you pay at tollgate. Be careful, avoid the queue with the written "TELEPASS", to pass thorugh you need a special box.
Side: we drive on the wrong side of the road, i.e. right side.
Lights: lights must always be turned on, even if it is sunny.
Speed limits: respect speed limits! Between Padenghe and Moniga there is a speed camera...watch out!
Drinking: as in your country, if you drink, don' t drive. Police can take your car and sell it! 0.5 g/lit (2 glass of wine) is the limit.
